Funicolare città alta

Bergamo offers a direct connection between the lower and upper parts of the city thanks to a funicular. The line is approximately 240 metres long and has a difference in height of 85 metres. The first funicular, with a traditional two-car system, was built in 1887 to a design by Alessandro Ferretti.
